THIS is a full-time position payrolled position with ENFA Corporation
The candidate shall provide Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Software Development, and Cloud Development support/services along with other systems development life cycle engineering-related activities and assist in coordinating, developing, and maintaining systems. The candidate shall execute in the integration, development, migration, verification, validation, testing, transition, and operation of systems including SharePoint and all supporting systems. The candidate shall support, maintain, and develop code and associated development software for systems using multiple languages including but not limited to Java, Javascript, SQL, HTML, .NET, Camel, C, and C#.
The candidate shall perform the following:
● Gather, document, and analyze requirements for enterprise solution/software engineering and architecture using system development life cycle engineering practices
- Review documents and other sources to identify existing systems and services currently deployed within existing software engineering/architecture environments
- Determine how well the existing systems and services support project missions
- Determine systems and services as candidates for end-of-life, consolidation, or shared services
● Define alternatives for integrated software engineering/architecture based solutions
- Analyze, identify, and recommend alternatives for consideration
- Analyze and determine if the selected target hardware/software systems, components, and services are reusable or expandable
- Determine options for how the target system or solution architecture may be designed to meet the target system/architecture performance metrics
- Determine if the conceptual system/solution architecture is within target cost, schedule, and performance metrics
- Determine and identify if there are existing external services that can be leveraged in the target architecture
- Assist in the evaluation of SharePoint systems, subsystems, and code base and assist in determining the characteristics of each
● Verify cloud-based, on-premise, and hybrid (public cloud and on-prem) architectures to determine if adequate safeguards and measures are in place to ensure acceptable risk
● Develop guidance and recommendations for transitioning from the current (existing) state to the target state (future)
- Determine if all dependencies, constraints, risks, and issues associated with the transition have been addressed
● Evaluate strategies for operations and contingency support
- The candidate shall provide such support as, but not limited to, (1) developing pertinent documents (standard operating procedures, etc.) required to effectively execute normal operations as well as contingency operations including communications, logistics, and other related project primary mission essential areas; (2) analyzing contingency/continuity plans for current and future systems; and (3) assisting with exercising/evaluating activities associated with approved operational contingency/continuity plans.

The candidate shall support and develop systems, subsystems, associated code, and documentation including, but not limited to:
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cloud, hybrid, and on-premise enterprise configurations of project systems
- Create, collect, and generate data and reports of findings as required;
- Prepare, participate, and brief in technical meetings and discussions with partners, cooperative organizations
- Recommend, analyze, assess and implement requirements in a flexible and innovative manner as it pertains to laws, regulations, policies and rules while implementing state-of-the-art technologies and advancements
- Review and provide recommendations for performance specifications, test procedures, plans to sustain, upgrade, and enhance the current SharePoint architecture and configuration
- Develop and evaluate SharePoint systems to support enterprise-wide documentation requirements
- Evaluate characteristics of different configurations for applicability to project missions
- Develop multiple SharePoint designs and identify challenges in scaling the designs to operations
- Maintain and operate SharePoint systems by effectively communicating and interfacing with project managed system operations personnel to ensure alignment with infrastructure baseline, configuration management, and IT security policies
- Perform system concept analysis to satisfy operational requirements and program objectives
- Provide a rigorous quantitative basis for performance, functional, and design requirements
- Support the project in the use of pre-transition testing environments to refine systems concepts and designs
- Seek user feedback leading to process improvements and system enhancements
- Support the project by conducting independent analyses and tests, such as performance analysis and the testing of hardware and software, to verify the adequacy of the assumptions, predictions and designs

This position is in the ENFA Corporation Intern Program which provides students with the opportunity to explore Engineering and Business Management careers and gain meaningful work experience. The intern will be assigned tasks supporting the ENFA’s contracts or ENFA’s research lab.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cyber Information Security Director (CISD) will be responsible for managing a team of Network Security/Information Assurance, Certification and Accreditation and CNDSP Engineers charged with incident handling, triage of events, network analysis and threat detection, trend analysis, metrics development, vulnerability information dissemination and the DoD CNDSP methodology as a Cyber Security team. The CISD will function as the primary liaison for all enterprise security related functions between the program and the ACE-IT Cyber Security team, will provide the ACE-IT CIRT with situational awareness of all Cyber Security Information across the enterprise network, and also act as primary contact for Enterprise Engineering in coordination of all new projects needing security assessments and evaluations prior to transition to the production network.
The CISD is responsible to provide both the ACE-IT Director and Cyber Security team all required security assessments and audit feedback to include: recommendations to meet specific security compliance requirements and complete detailed reports of information systems security status. The CISD will assist in the development of policy along with the ACE-IT Cyber Security team that will aid in securing information systems and protect data. Additionally, the CISD may be involved in support and development of security awareness for employees by explaining security risks and demonstrating good safeguards both daily operations and for specific projects.
Finally, the CISD will manage the teams completing all security audits of information systems and infrastructure equipment. S/he must have knowledge of Army computer network defense with a strong understanding of the lifecycle of network threats, typical attack vectors, and network and system vulnerability exploitation. The CISD will collaborate with the ACE-IT CIRT and the Engineering Design Directorate towards integrating security into the System Development Life Cycle of different development groups across the Computer Network Defense.

10+ years of work experience in an IT/Operations role with:

Advanced knowledge of enterprise and IT security risk management concepts

Experience:
